Leach Pottery Restoration Project

Bonhams Fundraising Auction

Over 80 makers of contemporary pottery and ceramics, have already agreed to donate a piece of work to be sold in aid of the Leach Pottery Restoration Project in St. Ives, Cornwall. Bonhams are producing a special catalogue to accompany the sale, containing a photograph of each piece and information about the project. Bernard Leach was considered to be the most influential figure in the 20th century studio pottery movement, and the project aims to re-establish his St. Ives studio as a training centre for new potters.
